At an event in Hyderabad on Thursday, director SS Rajamouli presented the trailer for Shankar’s debut Telugu film, Game Changer, which stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the key roles. Ram Charan will portray the dual roles of a father and son in the movie. Ram Charan’s IAS officer asks the audience not to fall into the hoarding trap at the opening of the trailer. When Ram Charan fights a dishonest Chief Minister who would try to ruin the star’s personal life as well, the true drama gets more intense.
With her beauty and charisma, Kiara Advani, who plays Ram Charan’s romantic interest in the movie, steals the show. Ram Charan’s one-liners further enhance this potboiler. “You will stay in power for five years,” Ram Charan informs the dishonest minister in one scene. Until the day I die, I will be an IAS officer. The filmmakers end the teaser’s final scene with Ram Charan dramatically holding a sword with one hand and dangling from a helicopter, clad in a lungi. No one prepared us for that. When the international celebrity concludes by saying, “I am unpredictable,” we take him seriously.
Alongside Ram Charan, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil all have significant parts in the action thriller. The filmmakers completed the filming in 2024, after several delays, having started it in 2021. Thaman S composed the film’s soundtrack. The crew filmed the movie in various locations, including Chandigarh, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and New Zealand.
