After releasing the OxygenOS 15 upgrade for the flagship OnePlus 12, OnePlus has started to roll it out to the OnePlus 12r smartphone running Android 15. In a Community blog post, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer said that the OxygenOS 15 upgrade is currently accessible for OnePlus 12r devices in India, Europe, and the world. Later this week, it is anticipated that North American models will receive it as well.
Google has integrated several artificial intelligence (AI) features powered by Google Gemini into the upgrade, and is also introducing its gesture-driven Circle to Search function for select devices.
OxygenOS 15: Introduce Schedule
Additional OnePlus devices will get the stable update in the upcoming weeks via an Open Beta program, even though it is now available for the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12r:

New features
With features like AI Notes for writing help, AI Reply for responsive messaging, and Intelligent Search for simpler file and note searches, OxygenOS 15 integrates Google’s Gemini AI model. The update also includes new photography features, such as AI Reflection Eraser to enhance photo quality, AI Unblur to correct fuzzy images, and AI Detail Boost to upscale images.
Through the “Share with iPhone” function, the update improves file sharing between OnePlus smartphones and iPhones. It is also enabling the smooth transmission of documents, photos, and videos.
OxygenOS 15’s design and animation upgrades improve the experience in the quick settings and notification bar. Along with it, revamped icons and UI enhancements result in speedier app transitions through parallel processing. Furthermore, OxygenOS 15 will save 20% on system storage on the next OnePlus 13 model, according to OnePlus.
For enhanced device security, OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15, also includes cutting-edge security features like Remote Lock and Theft Detection Lock.
