In an interview with the Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Friday, Zuckerberg disclosed that Meta and other prominent tech firms are creating artificial intelligence (AI) systems that can manage intricate coding jobs that are now handled by human programmers.
“We’re going to have an AI that can effectively be a sort of midlevel engineer that you have at your company that can write code,” Zuckerberg stated. Although he acknowledged that the first implementation costs would be high, the approach might eventually result in AI managing all of the coding across Meta’s applications. The current salary packages for Meta’s mid-level software engineers come close to $500,000.
