Interstellar Re-Release in North America, Christopher Nolan’s Film

Exhibitors expanded the number of theaters from 165 to 321 after realizing the film’s popularity. Additionally, it has been in theaters for an additional week. The Interstellar reissue has added $9.5 million to the domestic total, bringing it to $197.5 million. About $2.5 million separates it from reaching the $200 million milestone. Analysts expect the film’s second three-day re-release weekend in North America to generate between $2.5 million and $3.5 million.
The movie has made $724.01 million globally after adding the additional domestic gross to the $526.53 million foreign total. With less than $3 million more to go, it will surpass F9’s $726.22 million worldwide total and take its place as the #135 highest-grossing movie of all time.
