Late Thursday evening, December 26, 2024, saw the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, 92, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Doctors at AIIMS admitted Dr. Singh to the emergency ward in severe condition at approximately 8 p.m. On December 26, he experienced an abrupt loss of consciousness at home while receiving treatment for age-related medical issues. Family members initiated resuscitation efforts right away at home. Medical staff then took him to AIIMS Delhi’s medical emergency room at 8:06 p.m. The AIIMS medical team confirmed his death at 9:51 p.m. after all revival attempts failed, as stated in an AIIMS bulletin.
