OpenAI gave a glimpse of Sora Turbo, the updated and faster version of Sora, in February.
Sora Turbo is a new and faster version of Sora, the text-to-video artificial intelligence (AI) model that OpenAI, the San Francisco-based startup that created ChatGPT under Sam Altman’s leadership, first showcased in February.

To make it simpler for users to instruct Sora Turbo with text, images, and videos, OpenAI has created new interfaces. Users will be able to create films with a maximum length of 20 seconds and a resolution of 1080p.
While the “Re-cut” option enables you to identify and select the best frames and stretch them in either direction to finish a scene, the “Remix” tool lets you swap out, eliminate, or reimagine parts in your video. On the other hand, users can arrange and modify distinct video segments on their own timeline by using the “Storyboard” feature. “Loop” reduces and produces clips that repeat without interruption.
While “Presets” enables users to develop and share styles to spark creativity, “Blend” merges two videos into a single, seamless clip. A continuously updated stream of works from the Sora community is displayed in the “Featured” and “Recent” feeds.
How to access Sora Turbo?
One needs to have a Plus or Pro account with ChatGPT in order to do this. Pro costs $200 (about ₹17,000) per month, while Plus costs $20 (around ₹1,700) per month. The AI tool is free of charge and part of the plans. Longer durations, higher resolutions, and ten times more usage are all included in the Pro Plan. According to OpenAI, customized pricing for different user types will be made accessible early in the upcoming year.
Additionally, according to reports, Sora Turbo is not available at this time in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or the European Union.
